JK Properties have been in the Real Estate Business locally since 1999. In 2004 they brought to Malta the internationally renown Remax brand which saw them flourishing in the Maltese Real Estate Market as operators of Remax Malta.

In 2008 JK Properties entered into the Insurance market by obtaining the necessary license from the MFSA to found MAX Insurance Brokers.

Mr Mizzi, the appointed managing director of MAX Insurance Brokers, has over 28 years of experience in the insurance industry. He established himself in the sector when he joined one of the leading insurance brokers in 1991 gaining valuable experience mainly in the commercial insurance market.

In 1997 Mr Mizzi started off his own practice as a tied insurance intermediary to one of Malta's top insurance providers. In 2012 he merged his portfolio with Max Insurance Brokers Limited and was eventually appointed Managing Director.
